On Farm Workshops

All workshops include a tour of the farm, instruction + materials for the workshop activity, and a welcoming space for all to enjoy. All workshops are adult oriented. BYO snacks + drinks!

  • Explore the natural colors + shapes flowers and foliage can lend to textiles. Rachel will show you different varieties of plants which are good for decorating textiles, then participants will be given free reign to design and print a flour sack towel (it involves hammering- woohoo!) Flowers will be harvested ahead of the workshop to best use our time together.

    Thursday July 18th, 6-8pm.

  • The fields are full of color- appreciate the wide variety of flowers and let your creativity flow! Rachel will walk through the field with you, offer pointers in the picking of flowers + encouraging guidance in the arranging of flowers. Floral snips + vessels for arranging will be provided.

    Thursday August 1st, 6-8pm.

  • As the season draws to a close, let’s make flower garlands to bring into our homes and enjoy through winter! Farmer Rachel will guide you through which flowers work best in dried arrangements, particularly strung garlands, and then you’ll be given all the materials and guidance you need to create a garland of your own. Flowers will be harvested ahead of the workshop to best use our time together.

    Thursday September 12th, 6-8pm.

  • We will celebrate autumn and its abundance with the creation of pressed flower pumpkins. Farmer Rachel will provide pumpkins, pressed flowers gathered and stowed away with care throughout the season, and all the other goodies you need to create a pumpkin adorned with pressed flowers to enjoy.

Thursday October 1st, 5-7pm. Please arrive promptly!

Note: All rain dates for workshops will be following day. Workshop tickets are not refundable - thank you for understanding!
